Less than a month to go

We are continuing to prepare for the trail. I am sorting through the equipment while Dragonfly is gathering all the food. We have met with a couple of people who will be on our support team back here at home, with four more people ready to be added. In a couple of weeks the support team and Dragonfly and I will all get together to plot out maildrops, preparing the food (making granola and re-package some of the food).

On Thursday of last week, I received in the mail my last issue of Backpacker magazine, as the subscription ended with the April issue. I hadn’t planned it that way, it just happened. The April issue is the big Gear Guide, where they give reviews of new gear. It is always fun to see the new stuff.
