Smooth sailing…and choppy seas

On Friday I turned in my resignation to my supervisor, then off to the (hopefully last) doctor’s appointment and another blood test. Visited with former coworker Mary, then to have dinner with longtime friend Tina. It was a late night getting home.

On Saturday,I was hurrying to get to the workshop that I was co-leading–and I slipped on the ice. Nothing hurt right away, but later in the day I was in a lot of pain and my wrist had swollen up. Dragonfly thought that it should be looked at to make sure that nothing was broken. So a phone call to a support team member went out and then the two of us headed to urgent care, where I got x-rays. Fortunately nothing was broken. The doctor suggested a brace and to elevate it to keep the swelling down. By Sunday the pain was gone. I’m back to good as new.

Also on Friday the 480 Pro-bars arrived.

On Monday a goodie package from Justin’s Nut Butters arrived, buttons, stickers, pens and peanut butter.

The stress level is getting higher as the time grows closer.
