Piles of stuff

With less than 3 weeks to go, there are piles everywhere in Dragonfly’s house–equipment, food, and clothing.

Dragonfly is in charge of gathering the food.  I am in charge of the equipment and clothing.  I think we have all the equipment and clothing we need, so the next step is to decide what to take and what to leave behind.

Dragonfly is still waiting on word from one company to see if they will give a discount.  Without the discount, I thinkg she said that to order what we needed would be close to $3,000.00.  A discount would be very helpful.  We have already heard a “no” from Bob’s Red Mill and Justin’s nut butter (although they did send a “goodie bag” that did include 20 packets of peanut butter.

Next weekend we will gather the support team to show them how to re-package the food and send it in the mail for us to  pick it up.
