When Dragonfly and I first started talking about hiking the AT, one of Df’s concerns was about her three wonderful cats: China, Prophet and Clarence.  Who would take care of them while she was away?

My parents are retired, so I suggested that we ask them.  They said “Yes”.

So Mom and Dad Prairie Dog arrived last Friday afternoon for their extended stay taking care of the cats.  Having them live in Df’s home will (hopefully) help when Df is away.   Everyone is still working through this transition time-especially because Rusty (the dog) will be living with the cats too.  I am sure that everyone will be friends by the time that Df comes back.
