Grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, but currently lives near the western Finger Lakes of New York State. Was a day-hiker years ago but is now a thru-hiker. Loves living the thru-hikers life. She has hiked nearly 3,000 miles. Her hikes include the Northville Placid Trail (2011, 2012), the Centennial Trail in South Dakota (2012), the Appalachian Trail (2013), the Fjallraven Classic (2014), the El Camino (2018) and many other trails.

    Well many prayers for your continued healing! It might have been a good thing to rest for a few days even if it was not planned in. Virginia does sound rough but the pictures are exquisite and I hope you’re still carrying me in your heart. Moved to Tucson got here May 24 started with a G.I. bleed on the 25th went to the hospital on the 29th. Needed blood and had surgery to help stop the bleeding went home a couple days later. Four days after that started in again went back to the hospital had another surgery had more blood. But seem to be on the mend. Sorry I haven’t kept up with posting until now. But thinking about you guys a lot and praying for you.
