Backpacking adventurers–Dragonfly and Prairie Dog–walking to explore the world around them. During early adulthood in small town USA, the two intrepid explorers began wandering, reading, walking, skiing and biking the world around them.
Throughout graduate school, early careers, second careers, and life complexities, the dream to hike the Appalachian Trail never died. Fits and starts finally resulted in the triumph of reaching the goal–a successful thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail (April 3, 2013 to October 5, 2013).
Back to the day-to-day world of our times leaves them longing to be on the trail again.
Dragonfly and Prairie Dog 2013 and Beyond 
BeaverPond! We had an amazing sunset right there. We meet “Hobo” there and watched the sun go down on that bridge, then took a zero the next day. We love the NPT!
